ANNUAL "CROP WALK" TAKES PLACE ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 26^TH!!

First Church will again be hosting the local CROP Walk on Sunday, September 26^th with registration at noon and the walk beginning at 12:30 pm.

As a community of faith, we are involved in helping to alleviate hunger, locally and globally, spiritually and physically. We welcome your participation in this year’s CROP Walk by becoming a walker and soliciting pledges or by making a pledge to one or more of our walkers. CROP Walk envelopes are available now - contact Scott McClelland for yours.

Racine County Food Bank receives 25% of the funds raised, with the remainder assisting refugees and hungry populations through Church World Services. Last year’s walk raised $1,766.25 for the Food Bank and $5,090.69 for Church World Services.

The event is sponsored locally by the Racine Volunteer Center. Together we can make a difference in Racine County and the world. Make your pledge today!!

Lighthouse Tour

LIGHTHOUSE TOUR PLANNED - Becky Meredith, our young family coordinator, is planning a tour of the Wind Point Lighthouse on Sunday, September 12^th. The exact time will be determined. The cost is $10.00 for adults; children 6-12, $5.00. Children under six are not allowed on the tour.

This event is for everyone so if you are interested in being part of the group, you must call Becky by September 7^th to reserve your spot. Her number is 633-8806.

The Lighthouse Tours only take place about four times a year so this is a great opportunity to visit the Lighthouse and the museum. Join us!!
